So… How does Pinterest work?

First I would like to say I not an expert on Pinterest. Depending on how tech savvy you are, an explanation of Pinterest can be simpler or mor complex. This link gives a pretty standard explanation of how Pinterest works.
Personally, I use Pinterest as a resource. The way my Pinterest is set up, I have boards ranging from quotes, to cars, to food ideas. I follow people based on their boards. At Amy point a person can ‘pin'( Pinterest’s version of posting) that youse like, but unless they have a board full of similar pins, I don’t see a point in following them.
For me, Pinterest is less of a way to connect with friends, and more of a way to find new things.

So.. What is Pinterest?

With so many ways to share photos, one could say there is no need for yet another site to put photos on.. So why is Pinterest making such a big splash in this market? the answer is simple, Pinterest is taking the simple concept of sharing photos and transformed it into a way to connect and learn. Pinterest is simple, it is a site that allows you to post photos and following the posts of people or categories that interest you. Pinterest not only allows to express yourself through photos, but also allows you to connect with people from all over the world who share similar views to you.

Pinterest- An Instagram for girls?

So… We “Pin” now? In today’s society, much has changed in regards to how we do day to day things. Who is Pinterest for?

Why girls like it?… ooh

Personally, when I first heard of Pinterest I thought it was only for girls. When ever I heard of Pinterest, it was a girl talking about it. Telling her friends how she saw the cutest arts and craft idea, or the latest fashion. Its a view commonly shared by man males. dont believe me?

When I finally got a Pinterest, I saw there was so much more to it. when you first set up your account, it ask what your interest are, instead of putting in a bunch of ‘girly’ interests I put in what guys care about: hot girls, cars, technology, and food. Now my accounts puts up pins that I care about. Yea, Pinterest still looks a little girly, but when you look past the interface, there is more than meets the eye.
